Mind and Body Psychiatry

My name is Annamaria Pagani and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I am currently accepting patients ages 15 and up for outpatient psychiatric medication management. My role involves addressing symptoms and challenges that patients face with medication, but also identifying other factors that could contribute to their mental health. This includes medical conditions, lifestyle factors, coping skills, genetics, and more. I am a registered GeneSight provider and offer genetic testing to help narrow down psychotropic medication options. This also helps patients gain a better understanding of why previous medications may not have worked and which ones could work better moving forward.

I assess, diagnose, prescribe, and create a therapeutic environment. I strive to promote balance and sustainable wellness. I have experience with many mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, and more. I am unable to prescribe stimulants and benzodiazepines, but I can prescribe all other psychiatric medications. I empower my patients to actively participate in making decisions in their own care!
